I am a mother of 2 boys 14 and 10, a girl 10 months old and a stepdaughter 13, and stepson 12.
I work full-time as an accountant for a brick and tile engraving company that organizes fundraisers for colleges, professional sports teams (like Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs) and small companies and churches. And now I'm a college student with the support of my boyfriend.

New at blogging!!
Like everyone at some point, I am new to blogging.
Relationships are hard and even harder when you have children. I find myself constantly wondering if I am doing the right thing. But I also know that not moving forward and trying to improve my life means that my children are the ones who will suffer and that is the last thing I want. I know it's important to teach my kids that no matter what happens in life you have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and to never let life get you down. I dropped out of school in 12th grade because of a medical condition and it took me until I was 32 to go back and get my GED. And now I am in college. My kids are at an age now where they appreciate the sacrifices I am making and they understand what I mean when I say that education is the most important job they have right now.
I know what you mean. I think women at our age tryng to go back to school can be an emotional thing. It is hard to try to adapt. I have three kids myself., They are all now school age. I decided to go back to school to change occupations. I got tired of being laid off. I wanred to do a good thing for my family. I still think I am doing the right thing but I have a long way to go. Good luck to you, I can empathasize with your situatuon though.
